Tremont Outdoor Resort is just outside of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Townsend, less than an hour south of Knoxville. Nestled along the Little River, the resort offers 26 camping, standard and premier cabins for rent. All cabins feature cable television, mini-refrigerator, charcoal barbecue grill, picnic table, fire ring and air conditioning. While standard cabins include a private bathroom and kitchenette, premier cabins also include a fireplace. Pets are not allowed in any cabins. Deer Run RV Resort is secluded on 200 wooded acres in Crossville, about two hours east of Nashville. Nestled on the shores of Good Neighbor Lake, the resort offers three lakeside cabins for rent. Cabins can accommodate up to four people and feature a living area, fully-equipped kitchen, private bathroom, covered front porch, picnic table and fire ring. Pets are not allowed in the cabins. Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park is a 13,467-acre park hidden in the forests of Millington, less than a half-hour north of Memphis. Nestled on the banks of Poplar Tree Lake, the park offers six lakeside cabins for rent. Cabins can accommodate up to six people in two bedrooms and feature a fully-equipped kitchen, private bathroom, fireplace, picnic table and barbecue grill. Pets may be allowed in the cabins for an additional fee. Park amenities include two fishing lakes, over 20 miles of hiking trails, a heated outdoor swimming pool, disc golf course, nature center, playgrounds, covered picnic pavilions, boat launches, convenience store, gift shop, visitors center and watercraft rentals.
