Grants for Non-Profit Theaters

Grants for Non-Profit Theatersthumbnail
Theater companies in need of financial assistance can apply to receive federal and foundation grants.

Several non-profit federal agencies, private institutions and artistic collections across the country offer up thousands of dollars in grant money to theater companies each year. Most grants go to theater companies in the U.S. planning to put on an innovative or challenging production. Theater owners and managers looking to gain start-up money for a particular project should consider the following annual grant programs.
