Health Newsletter Ideas
Health newsletters are used to promote websites through email marketing, but they are also sent through the mail. These short bits of information are designed to inform readers about the latest health news or to sell products and services. Most health newsletters feature eye-catching photos of fruits and vegetables, herbs and other foods that remind us of good health. They can also include information and images about staying fit physically and mentally.

Omega-3 Fats
-
Salmon is high in omega-3 fats. Omega-3 fats are beneficial fats found in many foods, but most people are not getting them into their diet. Write about the importance of these healthy fats in your newsletter. Foods that are high in omega-3 fats are salmon, flaxseed oil, eggs and avocados, just to name a few. Place pictures of small avocados along the border of the newsletter and talk about oils that have omega-3 fats in them such as cod liver oil and olive oil.
Smoothie Recipes
-
Add a few whole blueberries to the smoothie recipe in your newsletter. Give your customers information for which they hunger. People love new recipes, so feature one or two new smoothie recipes in your health newsletter. Choose vibrant pictures of smoothies to display on the cover. Select a fruit smoothie recipe that includes one tbsp. of flaxseed oil, one cup of strawberries, 1 banana and 1/2 cup of blueberries.
Write about the health benefits of the food contained in the smoothie. Strawberries are high in vitamin C and bananas are rich in minerals. People can also make their smoothie even more soothing by placing the fruit in the fridge for 30 minutes prior to making this treat.
