RV Parks on the Olympic Peninsula
Washington's Olympic Peninsula is best known as the setting for Olympic National Park. However, the region is also renowned for historic logging towns, rain forests, whale watching, saltwater fishing and wildlife viewing. Most RV parks and services are on the northern portion of the peninsula, while the southern peninsula is more remote, with fewer people. Although the Olympic Peninsula can receive up to 140 inches of rain per year, many RV parks are open year round.

Rainbow's End RV Park offers 42 campsites with mountain views, mature shade trees, a trout pond, free wireless Internet, dog exercise area and restrooms with showers. All sites have full hookups with 30- and 50- amp electricity, water, sewer and cable TV. Discounted rates are offered between October and May, and those who want to save money by dry camping without hookups also receive reduced rates. The park is near attractions including The Dungeness River Audubon Center, the Olympic Park National Visitor Center and the quaint touristy town of Sequim (pronounced “Skwim”).

The small town of Forks, Washington, recently gained notoriety because it is the setting for the movie and book series, "Twilight." The town of Forks is adjacent to the western side of Olympic National Park and its setting is a lush, tree-filled rain forest. 101 RV Park is an in-town resort, open seasonally between May and September. All sites are big-rig friendly, with some pull-throughs available. Amenities include full hookups with 30- or 50-amp electricity, free wireless Internet and cable TV, and picnic tables. Park amenities include restrooms and coin-operated guest laundry facilities. Some dogs are allowed, but management excludes pit bulls, Dobermans, German Shepherd Dogs, Saint Bernards and Rottweilers. Snow Creek Fishing Resort

Snow Creek Fishing Resort is in Neah Bay, one of the best saltwater sport fishing and whale watching areas in Washington. The park is a Washington State Department of Fisheries facility and features boat-docking facilities, an on-site bait and tackle shop, restrooms with showers and RV sites with either full or partial hookups.
