Spring, summer and fall mark baseball season, which soon gives way to football season. Tailgating, a pastime almost as popular as the sports themselves, maintains beer as the adult beverage of choice for such occasions. Keeping the beer cool during the hotter days can be simply an economical decision, but there are many different and creative ways to approach the idea of the beer cooler. Does this Spark an idea?

  1. The Cruzin Cooler

    • The Cruzin Cooler is a fully operational cooler and electric motor tricycle. The electric motor accommodates 500 watts of electricity and will drive 15 miles once fully charged at a maximum rate of 14 miles per hour. The cooler unit stores 24 12-ounce cans and eight pounds of ice. Be warned, though, riders have been arrested for driving the Cruzin Cooler while they were under the influence of alcohol. The frame of the Cruzin Cooler is built from durable, lightweight aircraft aluminum, and the motor system includes a chain drive, disc brake and variable-throttle control. All of these mechanics offer the maneuverability, handling and speed of a golf cart. The Cruzin Cooler includes a rechargeable battery and an AC adapter; it also supports up to 300 lbs.

The remote controller can send the cooler forward, backward and left or right. The cooler is made of water-resistant insulated vinyl and has a zippered lid to keep the contents or the chilliness in the cooler. The RC Cooler also has a removable shoulder strap and can collapse to 6 inches tall for storage. The maximum amount the RC Cooler can carry is 22 pounds of beverages and ice.
