Beanbag Toss

You can easily create a beanbag toss that revolves around tropical fish. For the beanbags, use stuffed fish. You often find these at toy stores or party supply stores. You will need a minimum of three; however, if you want each child to have one as a party favor, purchase more. Each guest can then take turns throwing three fish at a time at a row of buckets, or plastic fish bowls, which are filled with candy and small prizes. For every stuffed fish that makes it into a bucket, the guest gets to choose one candy or prize from that bucket.
Pin the Fish in the Fish Bowl

Pin the tail on the donkey is a traditional party game that can easily be converted to a tropical fish theme. Instead of a donkey, draw a giant fish bowl shape on a piece of poster board. Draw a castle in the middle of the bowl and hang it on the wall. Blindfold the guests, in turn, and spin them around a few times. Give the guest a tropical fish sticker, which you can find at party supply stores, and then let them try and get the fish in the fish bowl. The child who is closest to the castle wins.

Pass the Fish

Similar to hot potato, the goal of pass the fish is to not be the one holding the fish when the music stops. Have the guests sit in a circle and hand one player a stuffed tropical fish or a rubber fish bath toy. Then play some tropical themed music, such as hula music. The players have to pass the fish around the circle as long as the music is playing. Turn the music off at random intervals and the child holding the fish is out. The rest of the guests continue to play in the same manner. The last player without the fish at the end wins.
