Interoffice Games Where Staff Can Win Prizes
Considering that the workforce spends more waking hours at the office than at home, it's logical to provide entertainment during lulls in activity and at parties. Go beyond tired, typical office games that everyone knows to incorporate something fun and different. Your staff will be more involved, grow into a closer community of workers and develop a better relationship through sharing games and winning prizes.

Employee Trivia
-
Have each employee email you a short list of personal details. Information can be "I have two daughters," "My husband is a stay-at-home dad" or even "I hate grocery shopping." Anything personal that other employees may not know. If the party is for a birthday or holiday, encourage employees to focus on those types of facts such as, "I watch fireworks from my front yard every year." Prepare a sheet with two columns, as explained by Stocking Factory. In one column, list employee names. In the other column, list one fact for each employee (out of order). Copy the sheet, pass them out and ask each employee to match the facts with the employees. The one with the most matches wins.
White Elephant Takeaway
-
Prepare one gift for each person in the office or have each person bring one gift at a set dollar amount. All gifts should be wrapped and placed together on a table. Have the group draw numbers from a bowl or hat to give create the order they will choose a gift. Ask the person who drew No. 1 to pick a gift from the table and unwrap it. From there, each person takes her turn at choosing a gift, with one exception--she can either choose a gift from the table or she can take a gift away from someone else. When one person's gift is taken, she can choose another unwrapped gift from the table. Continue until everyone has a gift. Once the exchange is finished, partygoers can trade gifts, as explained at PartyPlan.

Guess the Desk Item
-
In many offices, people work together on projects and collaborate on ideas. This leads to a lot of time spent at another person's desk. Find out who gets around the office the most with this game. Collect one desk item, such as a personal coffee cup, special pen or paperweight, from each person in the office and place them on a table, as noted at Celebrations.com. Hand out sheets of paper and pencils and ask the staff to match the item with its owner. The person with the most matches wins.
