Interactive television games are quite popular among people of all ages. Consoles like the Wii allow entire families to enjoy interactive games together. Children's consoles are also available, such as the V.Smile system, which teaches children many of the skills needed for school. Interactive games are not only fun for learning, they encourage physical activity in children and adults alike.

V.Smile TV Learning System

The V.Smile TV Learning System is a game system for children ages three to seven. The system console hooks up to the family TV, and uses games to teach children skills such as math, spelling and logic. The games for the system are called Smartridges, and contain familiar characters such as Dora the Explorer, Thomas and Spiderman. Each game includes up to five learning zones that teach children skills used in school. Children have the option of playing two different levels of difficulty. This system can be used by up to two players. The V.Smile Motion is a similar system that uses wireless motion-activated play instead of joysticks. This helps to encourage physical fitness along with learning skills.

The Nintendo Wii is a video gaming console that allows users to interact with the TV in a way that encourages movement and fitness. The Wii is for anyone three and older, and can be enjoyed by the entire family. With sport games, puzzles, classic video games, and even exercise games, the Wii is a great system for everyone. The console works with wireless remotes and nunchuks that respond to motion. Players are able to customize a personal character that represents them within most Wii games.

Smart Cycle Learning System

The Smart Cycle is a stationary bicycle for children ages three to six years old. The bicycle plugs in to the television and allows children to play interactive learning games while cycling for exercise. Use of the pedals allows children to progress through learning adventures, games and races. Children can bicycle through games that teach math, shapes, numbers, problem solving and letters.
Plug-n-Play Dance Dance Party

Dance Dance Party is a two-player game that plugs directly into the TV. Players dance on a dance pad along to any of 15 song choices. This game includes different settings such as arcade mode and fitness mode. This game can be enjoyed by people of all ages, either for fun or exercise. It has the option of three different skill levels: easy, normal and hard.
3-in-1 Smart Sports

3-in-1 Smart Sports is a TV-interactive gaming system meant for kids ages three to seven. Children can choose to play baseball, tennis or golf using the toy sports equipment that is included with the console. This system includes nine games and many levels of play.
