Disc golf, a sport that has gained popularity in the past decade or so, is also known as Frisbee golf. It is a combination of Frisbee and golf usually played in groups in which participants strive to toss a disc into a series of baskets or targets laid out on a course. The object is to complete the course in the fewest number of tosses. Minnesota offers plenty of courses where the sport can be played.
