Attorney is Necessary

According to the Honduras Embassy website, you will need to employ the services of an attorney in Honduras to assemble your document package to present to the government authorities.
Application and Affidavit

You will need to fill out an application form and submit it along with an affidavit that you will honor and obey the laws of Honduras.

Criminal Record and Health Certificate

You must provide a criminal record or police report from the areas where you have lived to prove you aren't wanted or a criminal. You also need a health certificate from an institution or hospital recognized by Honduras. You can check at a Honduras Embassy for acceptable institutions and get it before you leave home, or you can get a medical exam in Honduras when you arrive.
Birth Certificate and Passport Copies

You need an official copy of your birth certificate and copies of all the pages of your passport. Your passport must also be valid for at least six months past the date of your entry. If you bring a wife and family, you also need their passports and birth certificates, and a marriage certificate.
Work Contract or Proof of Income

If you immigrate to work, you must provide a copy of your employment contract. As a retired immigrant, you need to prove you earn a pension of at least $1,500 a month. If not working or retired, you need to prove you have an income of at least $2,500 a month that you will continue to earn while you are in Honduras.
