Asia e University is an open-entry college offering both undergraduate and graduate courses of study. It is based in Malaysia but has centers in Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Sri Lanka, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. The school is driven by the principles of self-reliance, and students are expected to continually set new benchmarks and maintain their studies in a consistent manner. The seven major schools include management, information and communication technology, cognitive science, education, engineering education, foundation studies and graduate studies. The Symbiosis Center for Distance Learning started in 1971 as an education center and is currently ranked fifth among Indian higher learning institutions, which includes schools with and without campuses. The five major fields of study include management, law, computers, health care, arts and commerce.
