Greene Street Club

The Greene Street Club is largely a live music venue, with a popular college night party every Thursday. Past acts who have performed at this venue include Zero, Us From Outside, Cool Kid Collective and Jonas Sees in Color. Note that the Greene Street Club has a strict dress code. You will likely be denied entrance when wearing a do-rag or bandana, baggy pants, long shorts, jean shorts, a jersey, long chain, long T-shirt, oversize collared shirt, baggy shirt or boots.

Stumble Stilskins

Stumble Stilskins is a club largely popular with the college-age denizens of Greensboro. Tuesdays are karaoke night and Sundays feature specials for those working in the service industry.

The Idiot Box

The Idiot Box is an improv comedy club that features shows on Friday and Saturday nights. They have a full bar for guests aged 21 and over. Note that the Idiot Box is a nonsmoking venue.

Arizona Pete’s

Fans of country music gather at Arizona Pete’s on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights to enjoy country line dancing, live entertainment and drink specials. Thursdays are college nights—all college ladies 21 years of age and over get in for free, and everyone can enjoy the $1 Busch Lite special. Fridays and Saturdays are reserved for live music; some of the acts that have graced the Arizona Pete’s stage include Confederate Railroad, Chris Lane Band, Swamp da Wamp and the Mikel Buck Band. Arizona Pete’s is open to everyone aged 18 and over with proper ID. Dress code is “casual, but nice.”
