The Cheapest Online Pharmacy Technician Schools
A pharmacy technician helps a licensed pharmacist prepare prescriptions, work with customers and handle such administrative duties as receiving prescriptions, labeling bottles and counting tablets. Though there is no national standard for training or certification, techs completing a program and earning certification are typically better paid. Reasonably-priced training programs are available on-line and require about six months to complete. Graduates receive a certificate of completion and school certification as a pharmacy technician.

However, according to an admissions representative, the course is normally offered at a substantial discount. The cost, as of May 2010, was $594.
