Hydrogen Peroxide Cures and Uses
Hydrogen peroxide, or H2O2, is a very light blue, weak acid that turns clear in its diluted form. The common type of hydrogen peroxide that most people purchase at the local drugstores contains dilution rates of 3 percent to 10 percent. There are numerous uses and various cures for hydrogen peroxide, ranging from hair dying to cleaning and whitening bones. Does this Spark an idea?

Whiten Laundry

Archaeologists and museums have used hydrogen peroxide for many years to clean and whiten the bones you see on display. Although you may not need it to whiten bones, you can use it to whiten your laundry. Pour hydrogen peroxide directly into a running washing machine to serve as a laundry helper. Hydrogen peroxide is also a very effective way to get fresh blood stains out of fabric, if you use it before the stain has had a chance to set.

For more lush and green houseplants, mix 1 oz. of hydrogen peroxide with 1 cup of water, and spray on any and all houseplants. Hydrogen peroxide acts as an oxygen supplement for plants and can help prevent soil fungus, as it is an anti-fungal.

Hydrogen peroxide, when equally mixed with water, acts as a sanitizer for germs when sprayed or poured on various surfaces, like kitchen counters, bathroom fixtures, doorknobs, and even public water fountains, where many harmful germs that cause severe infections and diseases are.
Blemish Clear Up

You can use hydrogen peroxide to clear up acne. Apply it directly to a cotton swab or napkin, and hold onto the pimple several times a day to dry up acne bumps on the skin.
Fungus Killer

Soaking fungus-irritated toes or fingernails in a solution of hydrogen peroxide with equal parts water every day will kill the fungus.
Wound Cleaner

You can use hydrogen peroxide for medical purposes to clean out wounds and remove dead tissue from bleeding or oozing cuts.
Skunk Odor Remover

Mix hydrogen peroxide with baking soda and a small dab of liquid soap to take away skunk odor from humans, pets or clothes. To make the skunk odor remover, mix 1/4 cup baking soda, 1 tsp. of liquid soap and 1 quart of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide. Carefully wash with solution, and then rinse thoroughly. Do not get solution into eyes.
