Kids who are beginning to learn Spanish can find a wide range of Spanish learning activities online. Spanish activities can be played by kids at home or in school. Kids can learn things such as different parts of the body, colors, numbers and the Spanish alphabet. In the activity Animales Animados (Animated Animals), kids will learn how to say different words and phrases in Spanish. Click on the animal that appears on the screen to listen to what it has to say in Spanish, and repeat what is being said. Click on the pig that says, "Gracias" (thank you); the squirrel that says, "Por favor" (please), and the camel that says, "Como se dice" (how do you say...). If you don't understand what the animal is saying, click on the red button to see in print what the animal is saying so you can repeat it. Click the green button for the translation.
Parts of the Face Game

This interactive game teaches kids how to say the parts of the face in Spanish. Place the parts of the face on a blank face by dragging and dropping the parts of the face. Click on a part of the face, listen to how it is said in Spanish and then place it in the correct place. Once a part of the face is set in the correct place, the name of that part in Spanish appears beside it. Learn words such as boca (mouth), pelo (hair), nariz (nose), ojo (eye), oreja (ear) and cuello (neck).

Kids can learn how to say the different colors in Spanish in this matching game. To play Los Colores (The Colors), click start and the game begins as the timer starts. Read the name of the color as it appears in Spanish and click the correct color from the available choices of colors that appear on the screen. Match eleven colors including amarillo (yellow), rosa (pink), rojo (red) and azul (blue). When you finish the game, your score and time will appear. Register online to post your high score. Play the game more than once as the colors don't always appear in the same order.
