Patios are a relaxing way to enjoy your yard. It doesn't matter if you are hosting a barbecue or taking a sunbath after lunch, you want feel comfortable. Finding the right balance between comfort and style is tricky, but it can be done. Evaluate your needs and your outdoor environment before you set out on your shopping trip.   1. Lounge Chairs

    • Lounge chairs are fun and relaxed additions to your patio. They are convenient for lying around and act as extra seating for guests. The color and fabric choices are endless. Depending on the design, a lounge chair can fit one or two people. They come a in range of styles including plastic, metal and wood. If price is of a concern, plastic may be the best option. However, make sure that the plastic is solid and durable. Metal lounge chairs are good choices if you need strong furniture. They are not too heavy, but will need to be observed for rust occasionally. Wooden lounge chairs are usually the most expensive of the three, but also the most reliable. Another choice is chaise lounge chairs. Chaise chairs look like couches fit for one. They do not bend, but are relaxing.

    Concrete

    • Try concrete patio seating instead of having plastic or metal chairs. Concrete isn't just for walking. It is a great way to have long lasting and sturdy seat on your patio. Choices include stools, chairs and more. Concrete saves on repurchasing because of breakage or rusting. Additionally, it can take harsher weather conditions. Concrete seating can be stained to any color that you would like. There are also many molding designs choices like grape or animals. You can place cushions and pads on concrete seating like other patio chairs.

    Benches

    • Benches are another patio seating option that adds style and comfort. They are chic and provide multiple seating opportunities. Benches come in different sizes, shapes and materials. Wood and metal are common choices for stability. Wicker is an option if the bench needs to be moved frequently. Purchase a park bench style or even a backless style. Benches can also be molded out of stone or concrete. Curved patio benches will an interesting focal point. Patio benches also come in glider and swing style. Adding colorful pillows will also bring it out.
