Animal Rock Door Stopper
-
Animal rock door stoppers are inexpensive to make using rocks and basic craft supplies. An oval-shaped rock can be painted to resemble a ladybug, while several round rocks can be painted and glued together to create a caterpillar. Frogs, mice and fish are other animals that can easily be created using rocks and used as door stoppers. Use heavy rocks that are large enough to hold a door open.
Flower Pot Door Stopper
-
A flower pot door stopper is another simple door stopper craft that can be made by children. This craft combines basic craft supplies like felt and pipe cleaners as well as recycled objects such as a tin can or a coffee can. When completed, this door stopper looks like a pot filled with felt flowers. Use sand or heavy pebbles to weigh down the inside of the can so it is heavy enough to hold a door.

Bean Bag Door Stopper
-
This door stopper craft will allow you to put good use to a mismatched sock. You will need a sock, rubber bands, sand, pom-poms, google eyes, scissors, ribbon and glue. The sock can be manipulated using rubber bands to resemble any animal of your choice, such as a dachshund, a bunny or a snake. Decorate it with pom-poms, google eyes and ribbon as desired. Fill the sock with sand or beans to weigh it down.
