Chiropractors treat the ailments of patients through non-surgical procedures. There are more than a dozen colleges around the country that are members of the accrediting chiropractor association, the Council on Chiropractic Education. Chiropractor colleges feature baccalaureate study and doctorate study in the field. Students complement coursework in science courses with clinical experience, internships and practicums.
