Employee benefits are an important part of your decision to take a job. If you are considering applying for a position as a FedEx driver, it is helpful to know the benefits offered by the company.
Drivers receive benefits after 90 days of employment, according to the career section of the FedEx website. Not all driver positions offer benefits, however, so be sure to read the job description carefully.
Salary and Variable Pay
As stated on the FedEx Compensation and Rewards website, performance of the individual driver or courier determines salary increases. In addition to salary, FedEx offers individuals and teams incentive awards for their extraordinary contributions.
FedEx also offers its employees tuition assistance for continuing education, paid time off and vacation leave (which includes time off for marriage, as well as maternity and paternity leave). Further fringe benefits include retirement benefits, shipping discounts and discounts on travel.
