List of Fish in Fate
"Fate" is a role-playing game (RPG) that takes the player on a magical journey seeking adventure, fortune and fame. The player travels through different levels of dungeons searching for items and enemies required to complete the game. The player is given a dog or cat as a companion and must provide fish for it to eat. The fish strengthen or diminish the pet's fighting capacity to aid the player on both a temporary and permanent basis.

Sizes
-
There are four sizes of fish that can be captured throughout the game; fingerling, small, lunker and flawless. A fingerling is the smallest, allowing a transformation of the player's pet to last up to two minutes. A small fish will allow a pet transformation to last for five minutes while a lunker offers a 10-minute change. The largest fish, the flawless, offers what is considered a permanent change. The pet will retain the transformed form until the player changes it to something else.
Ordinary Fish
-
Of the 21 different fish in the game, 14 are ordinary fish that do not possess any elevated special abilities. They have different ranges of strength and dexterity along with turning the pet into a different animal. Among the ordinary fish are the archer fish (Dire Wolf), arrow fish (Greater Basilisk), bass (Unicorn), carp (Wyvern), Beta (Nocturne Stalker), clown fish (Venomous Wyvern), darter (Dire Unicorn), dogfish (Pet Form), grouper (Creeping Widow), hatchet fish (Timber wolf), lemon fish (Owl-bear), ruffy (Gryphon), rubyscale (Vile Tarantula) and trout (Tunnel Spider).
