Have a fitness fair for the public and potential members. This is similar to an "open house" for guests to see what your sports club is all about. Hand out complimentary guest passes, offer free sports beverages or smoothies and free advice from personal trainers. Purchase newspaper or radio ads to promote the fitness fair or contact fitness brands (i.e., equipment, beverages) that you carry or promote and inquire about sponsorships. Offer door prizes for the first 50 guests to attract people to come to your event.
