OSHA Wall Poster Requirements
OSHA is the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, which administers the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. OSHA is a division of the United States Department of Labor. The OSHA division is responsible for ensuring that employers throughout the United States provide safe and healthy working conditions for employees. OSHA provides free posters to employers that inform employees about the act.
The Department of Labor requires all employers to display OSHA posters on a prominent wall where all employees will be able to view them. Posters should be hung at every location where the employer has employees. The posters should be hung at eye level so that all workers, male and female, can easily read the posters.
