Risk-Free Business Ideas
There are a number of business ideas which, beyond the expenditure of time and maybe a small amount of money, are virtually risk-free. Business ideas like this require a certain savviness as a salesman, as well as knowledge of the Internet and how to use it most effectively.

Online Garage Sale
-
If you have a large amount of extra stuff in your garage or in storage or just around your home which you own but want to sell, sites like eBay or Craigslist can be used to display and then sell these items to people all over the country or even the world. Follow the instructions on how to post a listing on these sites and name your price. On Craigslist, posting what you are selling is free for the most part, while on eBay a small fee must be paid up front for most listings but this fee is often refunded if the item doesn't sell. People bid for the item on eBay, so you will have to name the minimum you are willing to sell it for. When someone wants to buy either of these items, make the money transaction through Paypal with the cost of shipping included, if that is required. You can even start to sell other people's items, for a percentage of the overall sale. This is incredibly low-risk business and, when starting off, risk-free.
Researching Company
-
With access to and savviness about the Internet, you can set up a small, boutique researching company in the privacy of your own home that will allow you and whoever works for you to easily research topics and provide answers to just about anything. Beyond paying for high-speed Internet service, you may have to pay a small price to gain access to research websites such as Lexus-Nexus, which allows more access to databases, online libraries and articles. Other than that, this business is virtually risk-free--but of course you will need to bring in clients who trust your researching abilities.

Review Website
-
Everyone has to eat and watch films and read books, don't they? And everyone has opinions about these life and leisure activities, which they love to share and read. If you're a talented writer and can express your opinions about these areas of lifestyle in a vibrant or amusing way, then beginning your own review website might be a perfect risk-free business, because you can start it in your off time and, as you gain reviews and readers who respect your writing and opinion, can begin to make money from advertising. As long as you don't write anything which is libelous, this business is virtually risk-free.
