Grants for RN School
Brain Track, an online directory of colleges and universities, estimates that 2.5 million registered nursing jobs are filled annually in the United States, making RNs the most populous members of the health care system. These needed nurses must first get through registered nursing training, which, like all schooling, can be costly. A number of programs offer funding for RN students to pursue their educational goals.

Each scholarship is worth $2,500, and they are awarded to one student twice per year with two separate application deadlines. The scholarships are merit-based, recognizing academic excellence in nursing studies.
Eligible applicants must be enrolled in an RN program at an AACN-member school. Students who attend educational institutions that are not registered with the AACN will not be considered for the scholarships.
Students must complete an online application, complete with a short essay regarding career goals and qualifications. Finalists for the scholarship may also be asked to submit letters of recommendation, previous awards and honors and any published material for consideration.
