Fun Ideas With Practical Jokes for Kids
As a kid, you can have a great deal of fun playing practical jokes on your friends and family. The best practical jokes leave everyone laughing and do not sincerely harm or embarrass anyone. Always ask an adult's permission before trying a practical joke because you just want to get into some innocent mischief, not serious trouble.

Coin Practical Jokes
-
Trick people into thinking they scored some spare change by gluing coins to a high-traffic sidewalk. Hide in the bushes and watch as everyone walking by stops and tries to pick up the coins. Use higher denomination coins, such as quarters, to prank the most people.
Coins can also leave tire tracks on your friends' noses. Secretly trace the edges of a penny with a washable, brown marker. Challenge a friend to roll the penny down his nose using only one finger. Bait him, saying you bet he can't do it without dropping the penny. After he completes the challenge, he will have a brown streak down his nose, resembling a tire track. You can repeat this practical joke over and over as long as you retrace the penny each time. The marker will wash off with soap and water.
Sleepover Practical Jokes
-
Wait for the first person to fall asleep at a sleepover and then spring into action with your practical jokes. Squirt shaving cream or whipped cream in the victim's hands. Then tickle her forehead with a feather and watch as she gets the sticky cream all over her face trying to brush off the feather.
After the next girl falls asleep, grab an item of her next day's clothing and put the clothing in the freezer overnight. When she wakes up the next morning, tell her there's a cool breakfast surprise for her in the freezer. Be waiting with a camera to capture her expression when she finds that frozen fashion treat.

Food Practical Jokes
-
Switching the salt and pepper shakers is a classic practical joke that only takes a little preparation. Many salt shakers have smaller holes than pepper shakers, so you might have to expand the salt holes with scissors, but don't make the holes too big or you will spoil the joke.
Another option is to put the lids of the salt and pepper shakers on loosely so when someone turns the shakers upside down, the salt or pepper comes pouring out in one big pile. You can also do this with a bottle of hot sauce, ketchup or mustard.
