Early Childhood Distance Education Programs
Early childhood education is important to a child's future because the educators are responsible for promoting the development of social, physical, cognitive and emotional areas within a child's life. The ability of the educator to successfully achieve these tasks will help build the foundation of the health and well-being of the child. Some early childhood education programs can be completed online for those who are already working in the field.

Park University
-
Park University offers an online program where students can obtain a bachelor of science degree in education studies, with an emphasis in early childhood education for either teaching young children or for leadership. This program is ideal for those who are already in the field and working as an early childhood educator; even though the coursework is completed online, there will still be a need for some of the observations to be completed outside of the current workplace. Both the teaching and leadership curriculums consist of the same coursework, except the leadership concentration requires that students also take Program Planning and Evaluation, Financial Aspects of Early Childhood Education Programs, and Human Resources in Early Childhood Education Programs.
