Online Colleges for People With Low Income
Online colleges are a great option for adults who don't have the time or the means to attend in-person classes. The downside is that many online colleges can be very expensive, making it difficult for low-income students to take advantage of their programs.
Fortunately, increasing numbers of state universities, colleges, and junior colleges are now offering online degrees at a significantly lower cost than their private and for-profit counterparts. All those listed are accredited by recognized higher education accrediting associations.

Programs include environmental studies, horticulture, fisheries and wildlife, as well as a summer pre-law preparation course. Tuition is the same for both in-state and out-of-state students. Diplomas earned online look the same as those earned on campus.
