Wedding Page Layout Ideas for Scrapbooking
A scrapbook captures both the photos and emotions of a wedding day. Journaling in the scrapbook provides an opportunity to go beyond the content of the pictures. The bride and groom share their emotions and memories of the day through the scrapbook captions. Think about scrapbook layouts before the wedding, then ask the photographer to take particular photos to complete the pages.

Clothing
-
The wedding dress is a big expense for many brides. Capture the dress and the other wedding party clothing in a special scrapbook layout suggested by Scrapbooks, Etc. Snap some photos while dress shopping, if possible. A photo of the dress and tux on a hanger allows the clothing to take center stage for this layout. Include snapshots of other accessories---such as the shoes, jewelry and veil---to round out the clothing layout. If you have a swatch of fabric from any of the wedding party clothing, include it on the layout as an embellishment.
Wedding Party
-
The wedding party plays a large role in the wedding. Devote a scrapbook layout to the members of your wedding party. Include individual pictures of the wedding party or one large group shot from the wedding photos. Include each party member's name in the caption on the layout. For a more personal touch, add a block of journaling for each wedding party member. Include the name, relationship to the couple and a few details about the person. This might include how they were selected for the wedding party, a funny moment from the wedding or another interesting piece of information.

Wedding Prep
-
A behind-the-scenes look at the wedding day preparation adds another aspect to the wedding scrapbook. Scrapbooks, Etc. suggests including photos of the bride and groom getting ready and spending time with friends and family before the ceremony. These candid shots add a more personal and relaxed touch to the scrapbook layout. Print off a page from a planner to add a time line from the wedding day. Write in the day's schedule including salon appointments, photos, the ceremony, reception and other highlights of the day. This preserves the details of the day and how it unfolded.
Heart Layout
-
Scrapbooks, Etc. suggests using a heart layout, which works well with any details from the wedding day. Cut out a large heart that almost fills the scrapbook page. Use a piece of scrapbook paper in a contrasting color or pattern for the heart. This helps distinguish it from the background. Cut the photos to fit inside the heart. Add journaling and other embellishments inside the heart, cutting each item to fit within the curves of the heart.
