Sweet 16 Scavenger Hunt
-
The object of the Sweet 16 Scavenger Hunt is to find the most items on a list as fast as possible. Create a list of 16 objects that guests have to find. The objects should relate to the celebrant--consider things like her favorite nail polish, favorite food or favorite music. Objects can be hidden around the house. To make the game more challenging, send guests to other locations, such as a park or mall, to find some of the other items on the list. You can also make the game more challenging by replacing the list of items with a set of clues that hint at what the players should be looking for. This game is best played in pairs, especially for larger parties. The first person or team to find all of the correct items wins a prize.
Sweet 16 Charades
-
Play a game of charades with a Sweet 16 party theme. Before your guests arrive, write suggestions of Sweet 16-related movies, people, places and things on slips of paper and place them in a hat or bowl. Suggestions might include a TV show like "My Super Sweet 16"; the movie "Sixteen Candles" or lead actress Molly Ringwald; or simple words or phrases such as "birthday cake," "party" or "gifts."
Divide guests into two groups. Take turns choosing a person from each team to choose a slip and act out the suggestion. Each team takes turns guessing and the team with the most number of correct answers wins.

Karaoke Challenge
-
Challenge your friends to Sweet 16-themed karaoke. Prepare a list of popular Sweet 16-inspired songs such as "Sixteen Candles" by The Crests; "She Was Only 16" by Sam Cook; and some of the many songs titled "Sweet Sixteen," including those by artists like B.B. King, Billy Idol and Beyonce. After everyone has had a turn, taward prizes for categories such as silliest, funniest, best singer, best performer and worst performer. If you don't have a karaoke machine, you can still play this game by having guests lip sync to the songs.
