Bible Guess Who
-
Test the players' knowledge of different characters in the Bible. Each player is given a card with a character's name on it, but they are not to look at the name. Instead, she should hold the card up to her forehead so that the other players can read it and she cannot. Every player does this at the same time. Players may then ask each other questions about their respective characters such as, "Am I a man or a woman?" Players earn rewards by correctly guessing.
Jeopardy
-
Create Bible-themed "Jeopardy" questions. List different categories of questions, each with several questions worth varying amounts of points. Each team has a bell that they can ring to "buzz in" and answer a question.
When a team picks a category and point value, such as "Women of the Bible" for 200 points, the teacher reads the question. After he has read the question, the first team to ring its bell can answer. If the team gets the answer wrong, however, they lose the amount of points that the question was worth and another team may attempt to answer. The team that finishes with the most points wins. -
Fill in the Commandment
-
This game helps children remember the Ten Commandments. Give each child a list of the Ten Commandments, but with one missing. Each sheet should have a different Commandment missing from the list. Each student must then identify the missing Commandment. For extra challenge, have them choose from a list of real and made up Commandments to see if they can pick the real ones. Students who successfully complete their list win the game and a prize.
