Preparing a Christmas brunch menu does not have to be difficult. Many menu options are available, so what you serve really depends on your personal tastes and how much work you want to put into it. Does this Spark an idea?

  1. Sweet Potato Souffle

    • This dish is a great way to get your Christmas brunch started. With a mashed sweet potato concoction containing ingredients such as sugar, butter, eggs, milk and vanilla, topped off with a crumble topping made up of a brown sugar and pecan mixture, this dish is sure to please. After boiling or baking the sweet potatoes, the prep time for this dish is about 10 minutes, with a cooking time of 35-45 minutes.

    Gingerbread Waffles

    • These waffles really put you into the Christmas spirit. Added to the standard waffle mixture are ginger and a bit of molasses. It takes only a small amount of ginger to give these waffles a smooth flavor, and the scent of these waffles cooking will not let anyone forget it's Christmas. Prep time and cooking time for this dish should run about 15 minutes.

    Hash Brown Casserole

    • A hash brown casserole adds just the right amount of comfort food to a Christmas brunch. The ingredients provide just the right amount of flavor. The dish starts with frozen shredded hash browns and includes flavorful ingredients such as sour cream, cream of chicken soup and sharp cheddar cheese. The prep time for the dish should be no more then 10 minutes, while cooking time is right around 45 minutes.

    Breakfast Bread Pudding

    • Adding a dessert such as breakfast bread pudding to the Christmas brunch adds a nice touch. It provides just the right amount of sweetness without overdoing it. This is a Crock-Pot dish, so once you put the ingredients into it, you can set it and forget it. The dish uses either cubed French or Italian bread and combines ingredients such as brown sugar, granny smith apples, milk, cinnamon and allspice layered in the Crock-Pot. The prep time will run you about 15 minutes or so including cutting the apples. The dish cooks for 6 hours.

    Easy Peppermint Patty Cappuccino

    • Such a festive drink a Christmas brunch the finishing touch it needs. Preparing this drink is simple. You place a crumbled peppermint patty in your mug and melt it in the microwave until smooth. This should take about 30 seconds. Then you pour your regular coffee over the melted peppermint patty and stir. If you choose, you may add whipped cream.
