Missouri has several online education options to choose from.

Online schools offer flexible class schedules and the opportunity to learn at home. In the United States, many accredited colleges and universities are available that have traditional college campuses and also offer online courses and/or online degrees. Some of these schools are located in Missouri.

  1. Columbia College

    • Columbia, Missouri, is home to the main campus of Columbia College. The school offers more than 15 online college degree programs for students seeking an associate, bachelor's or master's degrees. Classes last six weeks and are offered in five sessions throughout the year. Students interested in a bachelor's degree can choose from majors in business administration, criminal justice administration, general studies, history, psychology and sociology. Master's degree programs include education, business administration and criminal justice administration.

      Students are allowed to take courses at their own pace. According to the school's website, online classes are mostly taught by the same instructors who teach at the school's main campus.

    University of Missouri

    • The University of Missouri's online program-Mizzou Online-offers students who have already earned an associates degree or who have completed two or more years of undergraduate study (60 or more credit hours) to earn their bachelor's degree online. The school offers a General Studies degree, allowing students to take liberal arts courses in their areas of interest as well as the core components like business, social sciences, English and the humanities. Mizzou Online also offers online bachelor's degree in three health-care fields: radiography, respiratory therapy and RN-to-BSN for nurses.

      The University of Missouri also offers master's degree studies online, in such fields as architecture, journalism, education, health management, financial planning, nursing and human development and family studies.

    Park University

    • Park University's main campus is in Parkville, Missouri. The school also offers multiple online degree options for students seeking associate, bachelor's or master's degrees. Associate degree programs include management, criminal justice and social psychology. Bachelor's degree programs for online students range from psychology and sociology to human resources and computer information systems. Students seeking a master's degree can choose from areas including communications, finance, health care, public affairs and more. Additionally, Park offers an online certificate program in military history.
