Believe it or not, adults are not the only ones who suffer from anxiety and stress. Games are available for children that are a stress relief for them. Stress games for children work by getting their mind off the day-to-day stress and relaxing their body.

Children can relieve stress by playing games with a deck of cards. Playing solitaire the old-fashioned way, with a real deck of cards, is a great way for children to relieve stress. Books can be purchased for solitaire players that include hundreds of variations on the game.

Puzzle books can be a quick way for children to relieve stress. Puzzle books that contain word finds, mazes, games and pencil puzzles are ways for children to relax. They will enjoy playing these games and at the same time it will provide an instant stress relief.

Children should also be eating properly and getting exercise to keep their stress minimal. Children get a great workout just by jumping on a trampoline, riding a bike or playing with balls. Be a good listener. Make sure to listen when they come to you with even the slightest "problem". Listen to them and help them with advice if they want it. But, remember that some children just want to talk.
