Ideas for Christmas Gifts for Fourth-Graders
Christmas-gift shopping can be very stressful, especially when shopping for fourth-graders. Fourth-graders' tastes differ so dramatically that you could be at a loss in what to get them. For the most part, Christmas gifts for fourth-graders can be divided into three types--educational, traditional and electronics.

Educational
-
Watercolor set Educational gifts are not only fun, but they expand the mind. Some examples of such gifts would be growing things (like grow your own peanuts), watercolor sets, pedometer, Venus flytrap, tadpoles, architect kits, wooden puzzles, mini compass set, and wax drawing kits.
Traditional
-
Bicycle Traditional gifts are the type of gifts that people have given for generations. Some traditional gift ideas are Barbies, action figures, light sabers, board games, music, movies, books, backpacks, skateboards, bicycles, tea sets and wall posters to hang on their walls. The traditional gifts are more practical and not as costly as some of the other types of gifts, like electronics.

Electronics
-
The electronic gift ideas are often more expensive and sometimes more breakable. Some ideas are electronic keyboards, computers, computer games, karaoke machines, Webkinz stuffed animals (a stuffed animal with a code that kids can register on the Webkinz website and play games, dress and play with), and video games. Electronics will continue to grow more popular as gifts as the children grow older.
