Overview

Ocean City is located in Worcester County, and is the only Maryland county bordering the Atlantic Ocean. Founded in the 19th century, Ocean City is a popular summer beach destination, a 9-mile-long strip of land that ends at the Delaware border to the north. The resort features a 3-mile-long wooden boardwalk dotted with amusements, fast-food establishments, retailers and other merchants.
