List of Sight Words for Preschool

Save

Sight words are words that should not be, or cannot be, sounded out by beginning readers. Sight words are also called high-frequency words because they appear in all kinds of text. Students need to memorize these words so they can read more fluently. They should already know most of their letters and letter sounds before learning sight words.
