This restaurant is owned by a husband and wife team and the wife began cooking Thai food as a child in Thailand. Visitors know they are in for a great dining experience as soon as they enter and smell the spicy sweet aromas drifting out of the kitchen. The restaurant features a full menu, including all of the traditional Thai dining favorites, including pad Thai, phad prig khing, chicken satay, spring and egg rolls, and many others. This restaurant prides itself on using fresh ingredients. Thai Papaya will also vary the spiciness level according to the wishes of the customer. Levels range from extra mild to "Thai Hot."

The Hub International is one of only two Thai restaurant's located in Evansville proper. It offers a full Thai menu containing all of the favorites you would expect, from pad thai to chicken satay. The Seating is available in the main dining room or in a more intimate setting in the back room. If you have specific dietary requirements the waiters are particularly helpful in picking out menu choices to help meet your needs. Most dishes support substitutions, with vegetarian options available. Extra vegetables and/or tofu will replace meat in most dishes with only a slight change in flavors. As with all Thai restaurants, diners with peanut allergies should be cognizant of the fact that most Thai dishes contain or are processed around peanuts. In addition to the helpful waiters, the food is served in a reasonable amount of time although a diner should always take into account that all meals are prepared fresh.

Ft. Branch is located about 20 miles from Evansville, and this short drive offers diners in this area a third option to experience Thai cuisine. Thai Chow features authentic Thai cuisine prepared with fresh spices and ingredients. The owner, Wan Reinhart, was born and raised in Thailand and married a soldier, then moved to Fort Branch and opened this restaurant. The menu is extensive, but the restaurant is not fancy. Thai Chow is commonly, and endearingly referred to as a "hole in the wall," a term that has a positive meaning in foodie circles.
