Hammers of Fate Cheats
-
-
If you are having a hard time beating Heroes of Might & Magic V: Hammers of Fate, or if you just want to be able to experiment with the units from the new faction, there are cheat codes that will allow you to do so. First, however, you will have to navigate to the "profiles" folder of your game directory and find the file named "autoexec_a1.cfg." Make a backup copy of the file and then open it with a text editor. Add this line to the end of the file: "setvar dev_console_password = schwinge-des-todes". During game play, press "~" to open the console window and type in "enable_cheats". Once that is done, you can enter any of the cheat codes below.
Resource Cheats
-
If you find yourself low on resources, use the cheat code "add_money 1" to provide yourself with the highest possible resource counts. Finally, if you want to spy on your enemies, you can use the cheat code "show_player_money X", where X is the number of the player you want to spy on, to see that player's resource counts.
Hero Attribute Cheats
-
These cheat codes can be used to boost the abilities of your heroes. The first, "set_hero_luck_morale X Y", sets your selected hero's luck score to X and his morale score to Y. You can also give a hero additional experience, thus making that hero more powerful, with the cheat code "add_exp X". Finally, you can provide a hero with all the spells they are capable of learning with the cheat "add_all_spells".
Battle Cheats
-
These cheats can be used to determine the outcomes of battles. You can use the cheat code "@Win()" to instantly win the battle you are currently in, which you may want to do if you don't feel like tracking down your remaining enemies, or you could use the code "@Loose" to instantly loose your current battle.
Army Cheats
-
The "add_army X, Y" cheat can be used to fill all army slots of a hero character with units from town X of quality Y. Use one of the following numbers in place of X to get units from the corresponding faction: 1, human; 2, elven; 3, magical; 4, marshland; 5, undead; 6, demonic; 7, dwarven. Y determines the quality of the units, 0 for regular or 1 for upgraded.
