Karaoke has become extremely popular over the past 10 years in the United States, and most large cities have plenty of karaoke bars. Baltimore is no exception, and it boasts more than two dozen karaoke withing the city limits and outlying neighborhoods. Depending on where you live, or what section of town you are visiting, you will have no problem finding a karaoke bar in Baltimore.

  1. Frazier's on the Avenue

    • Frazier's on the Avenue offers two things that are essential to capturing a karaoke audience: good food and cheap beer. Fraziers has a full bar, as well as live entertainment, which includes Open Mic night and karaoke. Monday nights are Open Mic Night from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. A local favorite, Flesh Colored Karaoke nights, run all summer long. Frazier's also has Happy Hour every weekday from 4-7 p.m., with several domestic beers on special for just $1.50. Frazier's also has nightly food specials.     Mahaffey's Pub

    • In the Canton section of Baltimore, Mahaffey's Pub is beer-drinking heaven. Mahaffey's has more than 100 beers on tap, with the opportunity to earn a golden mug and join the 100 Beer Club by sampling each one. Dinner specials include favorites such as meatloaf and smothered chicken. More than 100 beers plus a full bar will fortify anyone for nightly karaoke, especially after Mahaffey's 3 beers for $4 Happy Hour from 4-7 p.m. each night.

    The Glass Grill

    • For a bar that is a little different, the Glass Grill is a great choice. Next to a glass-blowing studio, the Glass Grill is fun and eclectic. Daily happy hour from 3-7 p.m. includes drink specials, and half off all appetizers. Karaoke begins every Saturday night at 9 p.m. and lasts until the last singer or 2 a.m. Glass-blowing exhibitions are given on the first and third Friday night of every month. Every Tuesday is Ladies Night, Friday features live entertainment, and there are different drink specials each night. On Sundays, chicken wings are $.50 all day, perfect for football fans.
