The iPod Touch version of "Lemonade Tycoon" gives you six different save slots. This way, you can play six different games at a time while still saving your progress for each one. The big advantage of extra saves is the ability to experiment. Create a few different saves and designate the first as your main save file. If you want to test a lemonade recipe or want to see what happens if you don't add ice cubes to a drink, do this with a different save file. If you find a strategy that works, employ it in your main save file. This way, your main game ends up being the most successful at creating the proper lemonade recipe and at pleasing your customers as much as possible.

Weather plays a big part in "Lemonade Tycoon." Before each day of sales, you can see the weather for that day on the main part of the screen. It will say the forecast for the temperature as well as if it will be sunny, cloudy or rainy. Use these aspects when creating a lemonade recipe for the day. For instance, you'll need to add more ice to the drink on really hot days. Three or four ice cubes work well for days with temperatures over 90 degrees.
The ratio of lemons to sugar is also affected by the weather. Although it can vary, warmer days work better with less sugar than on cooler days. A good overall lemonade recipe that works during all weather uses five lemons, three sugars and three ice cubes. You should still test lemonade recipe configurations if you aren't satisfying customers with your current configuration.

The main goal of "Lemonade Tycoon" for the iPod is to make money with your lemonade stand. In order to make money, you need to satisfy your customers. There are several aspects to customer satisfaction. You'll need to sell your lemonade at a reasonable price and using a tasty recipe. You'll also need to be fast as people don't like waiting in line for their drink. After each sales day, read the results to see how people like your lemonade. On the right-hand side of the Results screen, it will tell you what people thought. Use these results to alter how you're selling your lemonade in order to increase sales.
