Ricardo's Cafe Trattoria
-
Inspired by his travels to Italy, the proprietor Ricardo opened the Cafe Trattoria in downtown Lowell. Seemingly out of place in a city known for its textile industry, the Trattoria offers authentic Italian food such as caprese salad, chicken or veal saltimbocca and chicken parmesan. Try the pan-roasted Statler chicken breast stuffed with walnuts and cranberries, topped with a wine pan sauce and served with a pumpkin risotto. The chef offers soups and grilled flat bread pizzas, which change daily. The Trattoria is open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, and Thursday through Saturday nights feature jazz in the lounge.
