In 2009, Boston Magazine voted Milton, Massachusetts, the best place to live, and Money Magazine classed Milton as one of the top five places in America to reside. The town is 10 miles south of Boston and offers golf, theaters and outdoor activities at Blue Hills Reservation or Houghton's Pond Recreation Area. Although there aren't any hotels in this residential community, there are plenty of cheap accommodations within a 30-minute drive of Milton.
