-
The Flintsones
-
Make everyone a fake fur tunic in various colors and patterns and go as the Flintstones. Add a tie to Fred and Barney; make stone necklaces for Wilma and Betty. Get bones for Wilma and Pebble's hair from the pet department and find Bam-Bam a plastic club at a costume shop
The Simpsons
-
Put Dad in a white shirt and blue pants and Mom in a white dress with a red necklace and big blue wig. Put son in a red tee shirt and blue shorts, daughter in a red dress and baby in a blue onesie. Spike all the kids hair and you have the Simpson. Oh, and Maggie will need a pacifier.

The Jetsons
-
Judy and Jane will need short dresses with tights; blue for Jane and pink for Judy; white shirt and blue pants for George and overalls for Elroy. Make everyone a stiff triangle shaped collar. If you feel ambitious, make a Rosie the Root costume a out of cardboard boxes and an Astro costume out of a brown fleece hooded sweat suit. Add a tail to the back and ears to the hood.
Smurfs
-
Go as a gang of Smurfs. All you need are white sweat pants, white hats, white socks and tight blue shirts and gloves. For Papa Smurf wear a red hat, red pants and a white beard. Smurfettee will need a white dress, blue tights and white pumps. Paint your faces blue with makeup you can get at a costume shop.
Rock Band
-
Go wild, with big feathered hair, tight multi-colored leggings and ripped tank tops. Wear jackets with the sleeves pushed up. Accessories like dog collars and big jewelry will finish the look. Carry guitars, drum sticks and maybe get some groupies to follow you around.
Super Heros
-
Go as the super hero group of your choice. You can be the X-Men, the Justice League, the Avengers, or make up your own super hero gang. Wear leotards and decorate them with colored duct tape. Make capes out of table clothes, curtains or buy them from a costume shop. Get old boots from the thrift store and spray paint them any color. You can make masks out of an old scarf or ski mask.
