Some of its past students include Norman Rockwell, Marc Jacobs, Jasper Johns and Tom Ford. It is located in the Greenwich Village neighborhood in lower Manhattan.       New York Academy of Art

      • A fine arts school through and through, the New York Academy of Art focuses almost entirely on the human body. Be it sculpture, painting or drawing, figurative artists will receive a very strong foundation from the New York Academy of Art. Located in the Tribeca district of Manhattan where some of New York City's thriving art culture resides, the school is designed for graduate students craving high art training. The school was founded not long ago, in 1982, by a group of artists and creatively inclined persons, most notably the pop-art icon Andy Warhol.
