Amante Italian Cuisine & Bob's Pizzeria


A family-owned and operated venture, this Italian restaurant on NE 2nd Street is actually two restaurants. While one section is a simple, casual pizzeria called Bob's, the other, Amante, has a more upscale environment for a sit-in Italian meal, complete with either a soft background soundtrack or live music. If the weather is nice, ask for one of the tables outside.

This New York Style-pizzeria lies along North Federal Highway just above East Hillsboro Boulevard. Opened in 2002 by owner Nizio Eduardo, the restaurant features thin-crust pizzas, subs and salads. The interior is painted a deep red, while the decor is simple and tasteful. Times Square Pizzeria is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Take-out and delivery options are available.
