Providing simple and healthy family meals is the ultimate challenge for many busy parents. There are many easy breakfast, lunch and dinner recipes that will make even the pickiest kids sit right up to the table.

If your kids are tired of eating cold cereal day after day, then this warm and filling breakfast will satisfy them. It's a fine way to use up any day-old whole wheat bread. First, adults should preheat a griddle .Your child can mix together eggs and milk in a flat dish. Add some cinnamon and vanilla, then stir. Dip the bread slices in the egg mixture and put them on the griddle. Drizzle with maple syrup, vanilla yogurt or powdered sugar. You can also serve some fruit with it.

Your kids will appreciate the nice change from the usual bologna sandwich. Slice bagels or English muffins (best if whole grain) in half. Top with tomato sauce. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and other pizza toppings. Bake in the oven until the cheese melts. Wrap them up in plastic wrap or store them in a container for kids' school lunches. Teenagers also love to eat these as a late night snack.

Peanut butter and bananas are full of protein and potassium. This snack will provide the extra energy your kids need whether they are in school, on a play date or a soccer field. Spread peanut butter on a tortilla then add jelly. Put peeled and sliced bananas on each tortilla, roll up and serve. Raisins and nuts can also be added to the filling.

Simple yet pleasing, this dish is ready in under 30 minutes. It's a nice change from the traditional spaghetti with tomato sauce. Brown small pieces of ham in a pan. Set aside. Cook some spaghetti in boiling water. In a bowl, beat together 3 eggs. Toss spaghetti, eggs and ham together and add mozzarella cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

The ingredients for this dessert are simple, yet there is something very special about homemade ice cream. Combine 1 can of sweetened condensed milk with 4 cups of cream and 1 tbsp. of vanilla. Add fruit, nuts or anything else that you desire. Pour into an ice cream freezer, then follow manufacturer's directions for a tasty treat.
