Ladybug Garden Rocks

Ladybug garden rocks are a simple craft that children of all ages can enjoy. To create a ladybug garden rock, you will need an oval-shaped rock, black craft paint, red craft paint, google eyes and glue. Help your child paint a half circle at one end of the rock using black paint. Fill the rest of the rock in using red craft paint. Paint a thin black line down the center of the rock starting at the black half circle and extending to the back of the rock. This will create the wings of the ladybug. Paint small black circles onto the wings. To give the ladybug a face, glue two google eyes onto the black half circle.

Have you child paint the shell of the turtle on the large oval rock, allowing her to be creative in color choice and pattern.
