Foods to Lower Fungus
It may be hard to imagine, but fungus is found in the food we eat as well as the air we breathe. More often than not, our bodies naturally balance the amount of fungus in our bodies. Yet sometimes an unbalance can occur due to preservatives, additives, alcohol and antibiotics, which all kill off the healthy bacteria that helps fight off the fungus. Many foods that can help lower the fungus in your body to ward off an overgrowth.

Animal Products

Grilled Chicken Breast Meat, chicken, eggs and seafood are all good choices for a low fungus diet because they are high in protein and low in carbohydrates. Carbohydrates can cause more fungus to grow due to the high yeast content.
Nuts and Seeds

Sunflower Seeds Pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and almonds are all great low fungi choices. All the nuts are high in protein and low in carbohydrates that form sugar in the body causing an overgrowth of fungi.

Low Carbohydrate Vegetables

Asparagus Broccoli, asparagus, and spinach all are low carbohydrate vegetables. They do not cause the body to produce excess sugars because they are low in starch. The less starchy the vegetable, the better to ward off the over production of yeast.
Some Foods in Moderation

Low-sugar fruit and whole-grain breads and pasta are both all right to enjoy in moderation.
