    • A restaurant that serves both Cajun and Thai cuisine may seem like an odd combination at first, but it is a business model that has served the owners of Cajun Bangkok since 1991. Appetizers include popcorn crawfish, Cajun shrimp, and Thai-style chicken wings. Entrees include Cajun-fried catfish, jambalaya, bourbon shrimp, shrimp in a Creole cream sauce, and shrimp/crawfish etoufee. A wide array of Thai classics are also offered, such as curry, pad Thai, and spicy basil noodles. Reservations are not required, and all major credit cards are accepted. The restaurant is open for dinner only Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and for both lunch and dinner on the weekend.

    Okra's

    • Open seven days a week for both lunch and dinner, Okra's features appetizers such as raw oysters, fried alligator, and, of course, fried okra. Po' Boy sandwiches are available with a variety of fillings, along with jambalaya, crawfish etouffee, and shrimp and grits. Signature dishes include chili mignon, pasta diablo, and voodoo chicken. Various Louisiana beers are also available to complement your meal.

    Two Nineteen Restaurant

    • Two Nineteen is an upscale dining experience. The restaurant is located in a former Victorian home dating back to the late 1800s. Diners can start their meal with a selection of soups, including seafood gumbo, she crab, French onion soup, and the soup du jour. Patrons who stop by during lunch service can select from Po' Boy sandwiches, blackened Cajun salmon, and jambalaya. Dinner entrees include a house special 219 seafood gratin, a signature crab cake dinner, baked mussels, and roasted quail. All major credit cards are accepted, including Discover cards. Local rumors say that the restaurant is haunted by the ghost of the last woman who lived in the home back when it was still a private residence.
