Pine Bluff, Wyoming-Area Motels
Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, is the first town on Interstate 80 across the Nebraska state line. There is only one motel in Pine Bluffs, but more are located in nearby Cheyenne. Once part of the Texas Cattle Trail, Pine Bluffs was the Union Pacific Railroad's largest cattle shipping point. The town was named after the scenic bluffs it was built around. The Pine Bluffs area was first home to numerous Indian tribes. Summer visitors to Pine Bluffs may enjoy a visit to the Archaeological Dig Site to learn about artifacts from early inhabitants of the area.

The Plains Hotel

Wyoming scenery A little farther down the road from Pine Bluffs is the Plains Hotel in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The Plains Hotel rests in historic downtown Cheyenne and is near both fine and affordable dining, as well as several museums and parks. Parking for the Plains Hotel is located in a parking garage just two blocks away. The restored hotel retains its Old West charm and boasts a restaurant and a coffee shop on site. The historic Lincoln Popcorn Palace is just across the street for visitors who want to take in a movie. Other amenities include access to high-speed Internet and a fitness facility.

Scenic Wyoming bluffs Little America Hotel is down the road a bit from Pine Bluffs in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and is just off Interstates 25 and 80.
